Mary Frances (Haynes) Higdon

Mary F. Higdon, 84, of Jeffersonville passed away on April 29, 2020.  She was born on September 4, 1935 in Stearns, KY to Steve and Geneva Haynes.

Mary was retired from General Electric in Louisville, KY.  After retirement, she and her husband loved to travel.  She was a member of Rolling Fields Baptist Church.

She is survived by her Husband, Clarence Higdon; daughters, Cathy Mitchell (Richard Moore) of Jeffersonville, IN and Theresa Fitzpatrick (Harry) of Crestwood, KY; grandson: Ryan Bard (Hong), Tyler Bard, and Nicholas Mitchell (Daphne); brothers William Haynes (Sandy) of Louisville, KY and Michael Haynes (Elaine) of Memphis, IN; step children: Betty Woodruff (John), Lisa Higdon, and Mark Higdon; step grandchildren: Abe Moore, Aaron Woodruff, Timothy Woodruff (DeVonnah), and Christopher Adamson; many nieces and nephews,  as well as her loving friend and caregiver Karen Harshfield.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katrina Bard, her parents Steve and Geneva Haynes, brothers Morris and Steve, and her sisters Phyllis and Amber.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
