Mary Lou Henderson, 83 of Clarksville peacefully entered into rest on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Mary was born on June 29, 1930 in Scottsburg, IN the daughter of Sylvester and Nellie Mae Pierce Harris. She was an avid volunteer working at the The Palace in Louisville, Derby Dinner Playhouse, Meals on Wheels, Louisville Zoo and Clark Memorial Hospital. She also enjoyed sewing and working word searches.
Survivors include her daughter, Vickie Rison(Barry Sr.), Clarksville, IN; sister, Madelyn Hardin of Illinois; grandchildren, Chris, Stacy, Barry Jr. and Amanda; great-grandson, Brody; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edmond Carson Henderson; son, Jack Rider; sisters, Lorriane Kraus and Rose Mullins; brother, Lowell Harris and a granddaughter, Jennifer Rider.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 P.M., December 11, 2013 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Barnes Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday beginning at 12 Noon until time of service.
