Mary Louise (Evans) Dickerson

Mary Louise Dickerson, 73 Of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday February 5, 2018 at Norton Hospice in Louisville, KY.

She was born on June 22, 1944 in Weston, WV to Stewart and Tressie James Evans.  She was a homemaker and worked with special needs children at the New Hope Center in Jeffersonville, IN.  She was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church in Jeffersonville and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald William Dickerson; sister, Loretta Hurst; brother Hansford  Evans.

Mary is survived by her son, Christopher Daniel Dickerson of Bloomington, IN; daughters, Lori Anne Dickerson Smith (Allen) of Charlestown and Rhonda Rochelle Dickerson of Clarksville, IN; brothers, Stewart Evans, Jr. (Bobbette), Roland Evans (Linda) and Michael Evans (Andi) all of West Virginia; sisters, Catherine Roberson (Edward deceased) of New Albany, IN and Elaine McCartney (Arnold) of West Virginia; grandchildren Alyssa Lynne Ballew, Amber Dawn Ramirez, Mariah Faith Stahl and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday Feb. 9th at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 pm to 8 pm and after 9 am on Friday.
