Mary Florence Clapp 100, of Marysville, IN passed away on Monday April 20, 2015 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg, IN.
Mary was born on July 23, 1914 in Clark Co., IN to Clyde and Julia Harris Graves. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Colonists, Daughters of the American Revolution, Blazing Bright Order of the Easter Star #597, founding member of the Clark County Homemakers Club, New Market Christian Church, Nabb Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the American National Red Cross, US Civil Defense Corps, and the International Chemical Workers Union.
She was preceded in death by her Husband; George E. Clapp, son; George R. Clapp, Sr., and grandson; David Clapp
Mary is survived by her grandchildren; Ronnie Clapp of Sellersburg, IN, Lori Darsillo of Landenberg, PA, and Mark Clapp of Jeffersonville, IN, great grandchildren; Erica, Andrea, Kathryn, Natalie, Nathan, and Nolan, great great grandchildren; Trey and Tyler.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday and after 9 am on Thursday.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Blazing Bright Order of the Eastern Star #557.
