Mary Frances (Meador) Cardwell

Mary Frances Cardwell, 80 of Sellersburg, IN passed on Monday, November 19, 2018 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on November 12, 1938 in Cave City, Kentucky to Reuben and Cora Meador. She was a certified pharmacy tech for Goodman Drugstore in Charlestown and retired from Walgreens in Jeffersonville.  She was a member of the Church of God and Blazing Bright Chapter #597 Order of the Eastern Star.  She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Fred Bush, second husband, Larry Cardwell; daughter, Deborah Kay; grandchildren, James E. Denney, III and Tracy Jones.

Survivors include her daughters, Stephanie (Bill) Atkins of Salem, IN, Leslie (Ron) Ingram, Tina Davenport, Brenda (Ronnie) Jones all of Charlestown, IN, and Teresa Denney of Sellersburg, IN; son, Fred Eugene (Melinda) Bush of Sweeden, Kentucky; step-children, Kevin Cardwell and Deidre Dehaven; brother, Clifton (Ruth) Meador; sisters, Cora Ann Collier and LaVerne (Bill) Zimmerman all of Charlestown; grandchildren, Billy, Stephen, Kimberly (Kevin), Ryan, Nicole (Michele), Ronnie (Stacy), Teresa Renea, Tabatha, Joshua (Megan) Desiree (Alan), Amber, Brian (Amanda), Kassey (Jacob), Kristina (Justin), Kylie (Tim), Austin and Tony; great grandchildren, Ruby, Willa, Patrick (Danielle), Zachary, Bri, Micah, Caden, Xander, Noah, Tanner, Lindsey, Morgan, Jacob, Benjamin, Stephen, Wyatt, Leland, Waylon, Rylan, McKenna, Liam, Lillian and Owen; and one great great grandchild, Laney.

Eastern Star Service will be held on Friday at 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 2 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, November 23 from 4-8 pm and after 10 am on Saturday
