In Memory Of
Mary Martha Brumley, 97 of Clarksville, IN and formerly of Otisco, IN passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at her home.
Mary was born on December 31, 1917 in Clinton County, IN the daughter of Ernest and Elva Hunt Parker. She was a former employee of ICI Americas in Charlestown, IN and member of Mt. Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Mary enjoyed doing word search puzzles and her porch swing, but was passionate about her flowers and garden.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Zollman of Huntington, WV and Nancy Ruddell of Clarksville, IN; son Charles R. Brumley of Corydon, IN; sister, Joann Gerald of Boiling Springs, SC; 6 grandchildren, Lisa, Leah Ann, Duane, Mike, Amy and Don; 9 great-grandchildren, Carla, Kirsty, Carly, Megan, Cody, Micah, Bub, Kristin and Nathan; 5 great-great-grandchildren, Rylie, Jacob, Jason, Bently and Rayle; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harry and Ruth Sullivan of Henryville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles A. Brumley in 2002; daughter, Sue Long; brothers, Buddy, Mike, Roy and Virgil Parker; sisters, Dorothy Kuhn, Ruth Gilliam, Betty Kasnow and Virginia Collins; grandchild Chris and great-grandchild Dylan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday until time of service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mary Brumley may take the form of donations to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
