Marvin Rucker “Buddy” Tucker Sr., 84, of Marysville, IN passed away on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at his residence.
He was born on October 8, 1932 in Dearborn County, IN, to Charles and Hazel McClure Tucker who precede him in death.
Buddy is first and foremost a loving husband, father and grandpa. He was a retired painter for Jeff Boat in Jeffersonville, IN and he also loved hunting, fishing and mowing lawn and was a stranger to no one.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; son, Marvin Tucker Jr., of Charlestown, IN; daughters, Brenda Byrn of Bardstown, KY, Tammy Thompson of New Washington, IN, Regina Hurst of Borden, IN; brother, Gary Tucker of Kentucky, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday July 1, 2017 at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN with burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4pm to 8pm and on Saturday after 9am until time of service.
