Marvin L. Crider

Mr. Crider, 73 of Charlestown, IN, passed away Monday, October 20, 2008 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.
He was born on March 10, 1935 in Clark County, IN. the son of Arthur and Rhoda May Crider who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Doris Tibbs and Thelma Orman; brothers, William and Clifford Crider. Mr. Crider was a retired Welder with Jeff Boat in Jeffersonville, served in U. S. Army, a member of the Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown, and was a avid gardener.
He is survived by his wife, Darline Voyles Crider; daughters, Marlene Haney and Donna McCart both of Charlestown; sisters, Mary Ann White and her husband Robert, Memphis, IN, Janet Jones and her husband Rev. Charles, Charlestown, and Rosie Carter, Jeffersonville; brothers, Albert Crider and his wife Pauline, Charlestown, Robert Crider and his wife Liz, Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Robert Crum and wife Lauren, Benjamin Crum, Edward McCart, and Stephanie McCart; great-grandchildren, Sophia Crum and Haiden Fanning; several nieces and nephews.
