Martin Haycraft

Martin Haycraft, 70, of Clarksville passed away on Thursday, Septemer 27, 2012 at Lincoln Hills Healthcare Center in New Albany, IN.

He was born on Sept. 11, 1942 in Clark Co., IN to Wilbur and Estil Williams Haycraft.  He was a former employee of Rainbow Bakery in Louisville, KY and was a member of the 1st Southern Baptist Church in Clarksville and enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and working hard.

He is survived by his wife Gladys R. Haycraft, daughter; Amy Ashabranner (Rick Jr) of Foxfire Village, NC, son; Brian Haycraft (Jennifer) of Henryville, sisters; Margie Blevins (Jim), Imogene Talley (Jim), brothers; Marvin Haycraft (Ruth), Clyde, Farrell and Ricky Haycraft, grandchildren; Bret Ashabranner, Riley and Alex Billings, Tyler and Conner Haycraft,  step grandchildren Matthew, and Ricky Ashabranner,  step great grandchildren; Kaleigh, Matthew and Madison Ashabranner and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in St. Michaels Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home and after 9 a.m. on Monday.
