Martha L (Abbott) Righthouse

Martha L. Righthouse, 82 of Marysville, IN passed away on Friday May 13, 2022, at her home.

She was born on August 19, 1939, in Clark County, IN to John and Celia Cory Abbott.  She was a retired employee of Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN and attended Nabb Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed sewing, baking and cooking for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death her husband, Bob Righthouse, Sr. her son, Paul Steele, step-son J.R. Righthouse; sisters, Virginia Abbott, Delcia Smith, Vivian Bressler, Vada Short, Viva Stricker and Viola Vojkufka; brothers, James Abbott, Claudis Henderson, Kenneth Henderson, Bill Henderson, Walter Henderson and Joe Abbott.

Survivors include, her son, Shannon Steele and his wife Trish of Marysville, brother, John R. Abbott of Lexington, IN; fiancé, Delmar Stark; grandchildren, Cory Dezarn and his wife Bethany; great granddaughter, Olivia Dezarn and several other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Life Celebration Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Barnes Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday and after 9:00 am on Thursday.
