Martha Jane Horine

Martha Jane Horine, 99, of North Chesterfield, VA left her temporary home and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 1, 2025.

She was born on January 9, 1926, in Bethlehem, Indiana to the late Walter Gentry and Grace Berry Holloway. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vincent Marrow Horine, and all her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Mary Jane Mellette, James Alan Horine (Priscilla), Rebecca Horine Gerlach (John), and Beverly Horine Faulkner (Doug); grandchildren Frank, Beth, Kathy, Travis, and Jennifer; a slew of great-grandchildren; multiple great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. immediately followed by her funeral service on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234.

A visitation for Martha’s family and friends in the New Washington, IN area will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 10:00 am until noon at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington.  She will be laid to rest in Bethlehem Cemetery beside her beloved husband, Vincent, after the service at noon.
