Marla Jean (Gardner) Williams

Marla Jean Williams 75, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Rolling Hills Healthcare Campus in New Albany, IN.

She was born on March 30, 1949, in New Albany, IN. to Benjamin and Norma Kron Gardner.  Marla was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, she enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls, working with her flowers, tending to her African violets, and going to eat at the Copper Kettle.

Marla was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Benjamin Gardner; and her sister, Marsha Gardner.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory a son, David Williams Jr. of Charlestown, brother, Mark Gardner (Gayle) of Floyds Knobs; sisters, Laura Anderson of New Albany, and Christie Harrison of Atlanta, GA; and her grandson, Brayden Bryant.

Graveside services and burial will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11:00 am at Charlestown Cemetery in Charlestown, IN.
