Mark G. Riley

Mark G. Riley, 71 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

Mark was born on July 11, 1948 in Chicago, IL the son of Robert Charles and Viola Rathbun Riley who preceded him in death. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion Post in Jeffersonville. Mark was a devoted Husband and family man he and his wife celebrated there 34 wedding anniversary on May 16, 2020. He was a Truck Driver by trade and worked for B & J Trucking in Jeffersonville, IN for several years and got true joy treasure hunting with his trusty metal detector.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Dixie Fisher Riley; daughter, Gladys Cathey and her husband Kevin, of Jeffersonville, IN; son Allen Standafer, and his wife, Erin of Henryville, IN; sister, Marsha Wallace of Florida; 10 grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kelsie, Bradley, Tyler, Kristopher, Bailey, Halo, Sierra, Sienna and Ruger; 6 great-grandchildren.

Life celebration memorial services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Monday until the time of services. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Riley may take the form of donations to the Disabled American Veterans Association.
