Ms. Lauter a native of Jefferson Co., IN and member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Paynesville, IN died Sunday August 6, 2006 at Sellersburg Health and Rehab. She was also active in the Eastern Star, Greenup County (KY) Homemakers Club and the Methodist Women's Missionary Society. She is survived by her three sons; Galen Lauter, Rev. Roy Lauter and Lloyd Lauter, Jr. 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
