Mr. Shepherd a native of Nabb was a army air force veteran of World War II and a retired sheet metal worker for Cissell Manufacturing in Louisville died Thursday afternoon Dec. 9, 2004 at his home. He is survived by his wife the former Mary Yount; two sons George Shepherd, Jr., and Donnie Shepherd; two daughters Norma Croft and Mary Irene Young, 4 grand and 3 great grandchildren.
