Maria F. Welch

Maria F. Welch, 95, of Charlestown passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born on October 16, 1916, in Chicago, IL, and grew up in Turlock, CA. Maria was a retired Nurses Aide at Jewish Hospital in Louisville and a member of Christ's Community Church of the Nazarene, New Albany.
Survivors include a son, Gary Welch(Darlene), Jeffersontown, KY; sister Elsa Burnett; grandchildren, John Welch(Aneeka) and Faith Wilson(Arnie); great-grandchildren, Brady and Grant Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norwood Welch, daughter Joanne, and son Paul.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 16, 2012, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday and after 9:00 A.M. Monday until time of service.
