Margaret Leah (Gregory) Waters

Margaret Leah Waters, 88 of Charlestown, IN passed away on of Sunday October 15, 2017 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
She was born on September 5, 1929 to Talmadge and Ethel Penn Gregory in Midway, KY. She was a retired teacher and custodian for Greater Clark County Schools and a member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in New Washington, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband George A. Waters and a son George E. Waters.
Survivors include her daughter, Ethel “Effie” Allen (Blaine) of Charlestown; sons, John Waters (Laura) of Charlestown, Harry Waters (Barbara) of Abingdon, VA, Bobby Waters of New Castle, IN and Lyman “Tom” Waters (Beverly) of Charlestown; sister, Joan Tucker of Jeffersonville; brothers, Charles Gregory of Charlestown, John and Tommy Gregory both of California; 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday October 18, 2017 at Trinity United Presbyterian Church in New Washington with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3 pm to 8 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington and on Wednesday after 10 am at the church.
