Margaret Duncan, 68 of Charlestown passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2015.
Margaret was born July 18, 1946 in Jeffersonville, IN the daughter of Oard and Susie Kathryn Thompson Carlton. She was retired from the former JP Morgan Chase Bank Processing Center in Louisville, KY.
Survivors include her daughters, Paula Fellows(Tom) of Charlestown, Carol Smith(Tim) of Depauw, IN and Angela Smith of Cincinnati, OH; sons, Tom Duncan(Tina) of San Tan Valley, AZ and Allen Duncan(Christine) of Sellersburg, IN; sisters, Beverly Hogue of Louisville, KY and Nancy Shepherd of Lancaster, PA; brother, Robert Carlton of Las Vegas, NV; 11 grandchildren, Whitney, Thomas, Lexie, Dakota, Katelyn, Collin, Lacie, Matthew, Mackenzie, Brandon and Cole; 1 great-grandchild, Ava. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul Duncan and brothers, Allen Ray Carlton, David Carlton and Clifton “Gene” Huber; sister, Anna Marie Shepherd.
Private graveside services will be held at Charlestown Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mrs. Duncan may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
