Margaret (Thompson) Chatterton

Margaret (Midge) Prather Chatterton, 89, of Salem, and formerly of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Scott Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3pm to 8pm and after 9am on Monday at the funeral home. She worked many years at Imco Containers in Jeffersonville. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter; Dorothy (Dottie) Rabbeth and her husband Robert; sons; William Smith and his wife Rosemary, and Robert Smith and his wife Brenda; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings Chatterton, and her sons, James Smith and Glen Allen Prather.
