Margaret Lois Cartwright, 101 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Sunday February 15, 2015 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg, IN.
Margaret was born on February 13, 1914 in Orleans, IN the daughter of Homer and Mae Newby Roberts. Margaret was a volunteer at the Medical Center of Southern Indiana for years, she was a retired music teacher and a member of the First Baptist Church, Blazing Bright O.E.S. Chapter # 597, Tri Kappa Sorority in Orleans, IN and Muphi Epsilom.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Cartwright.
Margaret is survived by her children; Robert Cartwright (Jeannie), Thomas Cartwright and Rebecca Cartwright, seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday Feb. 24, 2015 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Monday and after 9 am on Tuesday. Eastern Star services will be held at 7 pm on Monday.
