Ben Smith, age 50, of Charlestown, IN formerly of Hanover passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012 at River Crossing’s Health Campus in Charlestown.
Ben was born September 1, 1961 in Madison, IN the son of Harold Eston and Ruth Davidson Smith who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sisters, Donna Pettitt, Hanover and Ellen Hartlage, Crothersville, IN; brothers, Wayne O. Smith and Eston Smith both of Hanover and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Paynesville, IN. Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover is handling the arrangements. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Ben may take the form of donations to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Association.
