Mae Smith, 96 of Sebring, Florida and formerly of New
Washington, IN passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013 in Sebring, Florida.
Mrs. Smith was born October 12, 1916 in Scott Co., IN the daughter of James Elmer and Effie Stodghill Shepherd. She was a retired Elementary Teacher and taught in the New Washington Elementary Schools for several years, was a former member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in New Washington and the Red Hat Club.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Williams(Bill), St. Joseph, Illinois; grandchildren, David Cross(Julia) and Lisa Bathe(Jeff); great-grandchild, Bryan Bathe. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bryan Riley Smith on November 19, 2004.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Barnes Cemetery near Nabb, IN at 1:00 P.M. Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington is entrusted with the arrangements.
