Mae Ritchie, 90, of Charlestown, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.
She was born on October 31, 1921 to Roscoe and Sarah Combs Ritchie in Dwarf, KY.
She was a retired cafeteria worker for Charlestown High School. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Ritchie; son, Vaughn Ritchie; sisters, Jeanette Poynter, and Bertha Sanders; brothers, Garrison Richie, Fielden Richie, and Alvin Richie.
Survivors include her daughter, Sonja Mitchell (John) of Taylor Mill, KY;
sisters, Anna Reedy of Charlestown, IN, Marie Whitaker of Louisville, KY, Pearl Webb of Brownsville, KY, and Janis Jones of Charlestown, IN; grandson, Clint Montanio; great-grandchild, Delanie Montanio.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to take place in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Henryville, IN. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Saturday.
