Mae Hale, 83 of Charlestown died on Friday November 30, 2012 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
She was born on March 12, 1929 in Barbourville, KY to Delber and Grace Gambrel Martin. She was also a former employee of the old Charlestown Cleaners. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Woodrow Hale.
She is survived by her son Charles Hale (Jo Anna) of Carthage, MS, sister; Gladys Polston of Jeffersonville, IN, grandchildren; Gary Prewitt and Stacy Dodson and great granddaughter Chelsea Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday December 4, 2012 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
