Mable Leona (Blanton) Boger

Mable Leona Boger, 85 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday September 2, 2017 at her home.

She was born on May 25, 1932 in Orange County, IN to Jonathan and Mellie Howard Blanton.  She was a retired clerk from the United State Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her son, Connie Mark Boger and granddaughter Amber Rae Boger.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Boger; sons, Terry M. Boger of Woodstock, GA and Jeff S. Boger of Memphis, IN., daughters, Jacquelyn Samples and Shawna R. Helton both of Charlestown and Jocelyn McKinnon of Idlewylde, CA; sister, Frances I. Bryant of Shepherdsville, KY; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is handling the arrangements.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
