Mabel Evelyn Clapp, 76, passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 at Riverbend Cottage.
She was born on August 23, 1935 in Whitesburg, KY to Theodore And Melda Gilley Standifer. She was a office worker for the Clark County REMC and a member of the First Baptist Church in New Washington.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry Clapp of Otisco, IN, and James Clapp of New Washington; brother, David Standifer of Cumberland, KY; sisters, Shirley Day of Witco, KY, Pauline Odom of Jeffersonville, IN, and Audrey Brown of Charlestown, IN;
3 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 1pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, with burial in the New Market Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1pm to 8pm and after 9am on Friday.
