Mabel Miriam (Stephens) Beverly

Mabel Miriam Beverly, 73 of Jeffersonville, IN and formerly of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Sunday May 17, 2020 at Campbells Care Home in New Washington, IN.

Miriam was born on February 22, 1947 in Jacksonville, FL the daughter of Charles and Lizzie Gill Stephens. She was a member of the Church of Jesus of Latter-Day Saints the Columbus, IN ward. Miriam was passionate about her faith, enjoyed crocheting, sweets especially with peanut butter included and her favorite show was General Hospital which she has watched faithfully from its beginning.

Survivors include her daughters, Billie Ibrahim and her husband Wael and Laviece Ruiz both of Jacksonville, FL; son Jeremy Shaw and his wife Helen of Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Kareem, Nadia, Abdullah, David, Victoria, Sabrina, Amber, Christian, Madison and Ryan. Miriam was preceded in death by her father, Charles Stephens; mother, Lizzie Gill Stephens of Folkston, GA; husbands, Clyde Shaw and Ralph Beverly; son, David Shaw; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Cremation was chosen with services by the family at a later time. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN is in charge of arrangements.
