Louise Burchett

Louise departed this life for her heavenly home on March 27, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She will be greatly missed each day by her devoted husband of 62 years, Thomas Burchett. She is survived by her son, Gary Burchett, her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Bill Woods. She was simply Nanny to her grandchildren Wayne Woods, Sarah Adel, Matt Burchett and Kim Burchett and her great-grandchildren Ashley, Hailey and Sydney Woods and Michael and Jessica Burchett. She also leaves many dear and loving friends to cherish her memory.

She was born on September 24, 1927 in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents Jasper and Mae Cundiff and her brother, Eddie Cundiff.

Louise was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Charlestown and a feisty member of the Red Hats. Besides her family, her biggest love was for crafts and flowers. One of her greatest joys was sharing a few seeds or a "start" from something in her yard. The gardens of heaven will bloom a little more radiantly this spring.
