Lottie McComb, 72 of Charlestown passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Wedgewood Healthcare in Clarksville.
Lottie was born January 17, 1942 in Nelson County, KY the daughter of Everett and Ora Ethel Grigsby Smith. She was a retired L.P.N. and formerly worked at Clark Memorial Hospital. Lottie was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed quilting, embroidering, sewing and loved Gospel Music.
Survivors include her daughters, Tina Gouldy(Bob) and Chris Fish(Paul) both of Jeffersonville; son Jack McComb of Jeffersonville; sisters, Glayds Coulter, Rebecca Bennett, Olena Brickner and Alma Brown; brothers, Kenneth Smith, Nathaniel J. Smith, Eugene Smith, Marine Smith and Finace Smith; six grandchildren, Cassie, Jason, Sara, Kayla, Scott, Matt and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Veneta Burns and Sandra Scott; brothers, Calvin, Hedger, and Glenn Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown at 11:30 A.M. with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Lottie may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
