Lora "Lolo" Hardin

Lora “LoLo” Hardin, 60 of New Albany, IN passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

Lora was born on July 7, 1959 in Jeffersonville, IN the daughter of Rufus Lee and LaVerne Cassie Guenther Hardin. She was a retired Bookkeeper formerly working for Luckett Holding in Louisville, KY and Monroe Shine in New Albany, IN. Lora was a member of Colgate Baptist Church in Clarksville, IN, member and past president of Business and Professional Women of Louisville, KY, and a Kentucky Colonel. She enjoyed many things in life including reading, gardening and traveling especially to see the ocean.

Lora is survived by her sisters, Bessie Davidson and her husband Virgil of Scottsburg, IN and Catherine Hardin of Porterville, CA; brothers, Lynn Hardin and John F. Hardin both of Lexington, IN; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephew whom she considered her children; several dear friends who considered them self’s members of the Old Ladies Club.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James L. and Michael Hardin; sister, Gloria Neal.

Life celebration services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday until the time of services.
