Logan James Carroll, 24 of Otisco, IN passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Sellersburg Healthcare ending a miraculous life.
Logan was born on April 6, 1995 in Jeffersonville, IN the son of James Todd Carroll and Tami Burch Dipyatic. He attended Charlestown High School, enjoyed his Disney Cartoons and music. Logan was Clark Memorial Hospital’s Miracle Baby in 1995 when he died and miraculously came back to life. He was a celebrity for a time appearing in episodes of “Unsolved Mysteries” and “It’s a Miracle” and several talk shows including Maury Povich. Logan was Southern Indiana Metro United Way Poster Child in 1997, but more than anything he was loved by anyone who met him. His bright blue eyes and great smile seemed to bring joy and smiles wherever he went.
Logan is survived by his loving family including his mother, Tami Dipyatic and her husband Domenick of Otisco, IN; father, Todd Carroll and Ronda of Lexington, IN; sister, Jaclyn Carroll 0f Otisco, IN; brother, J. T. Carroll of Hanover, IN; Niece and best buddy, Serenity Carroll of Otisco, IN. He was also loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, healthcare professionals and caregivers. Logan’s family would like to thank the staff at Sellersburg Healthcare for there wonderful care not only for Logan but also his family.
Life celebration services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington, IN. Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday after 12 Noon until the time of services.
