Mr. Alstott was born on November 15, 1945 to Wesley and Elva Mounce Alsott in Charlestown, IN and died Friday May 4, 2007 at his home. He was a retired employee of Colgate Palmolive, and army veteran, a member of AARP and the American Legion Post 335 and was an avid IU basketball fan. Survivors include his sons Jeff Alstott and John "Stanton" McMillen both of Charlestown and his sister Lilly Vest of Jeffersonville.
