Lizzie Belle Morrison, 89 of Hanover passed away on Tuesday January 22, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on May 9, 1923 in Lexington, IN to Clayton W. and Lizzie E. Sanders Hampton who preceded her in death. She was a former attendant at Madison State Hospital, a dairy farmer and a homemaker and mother.
She was also preceded in death by husbands John Griffin and John Morrison, 2 brothers, 4 sisters and a daughter.
She is survived by her sons; Roger Griffin of Lexington, IN, Jimmie D. Morrison of Scottsburg, IN, Randy Morrison and Eric N. Morrison both of Lexington, IN and Charles A. Morrison of Hanover, IN, daughter; Connie Griffin Cato of Marco Island, FL, brother; William Schreckengast of Greenwood, IN and 11 Grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday at River Valley Community Church in Madison, IN with burial in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery near Henryville, IN. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the church.
Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover is handling the arrangements.
