Linda Sue Sutherland

Linda Sue Sutherland, 73 of Hanover, IN passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover.

Linda was born on November 17, 1948 in Madison, IN the daughter of Roy and Virgie Bare Sutherland who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Hubert Sutherland. Linda was a Cook for several area restaurants, Reed’s, Corner Pocket, Log Cabin, and Cornerstone in Hanover and the River Point and 34 years at the Pines in Madison. She was a member of the Paynesville Christian Church and also served with the Ladies Aide. Linda did some volunteer worked with The Cradle in Scottsburg like making Blankets, small purses and other items. She enjoyed watching her game shows especially Wheel of Fortune, crossword puzzles, word search and reading.

Linda is survived by her sister, Alethea Sutherland of Hanover, IN; brothers, Everett Sutherland and his wife Norma of Hanover, IN and Dennis Sutherland and his wife Helen of Deputy, IN; and 10 nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Old Bethel Cemetery outside of Hanover at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Dan Corbin officiating. Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington is in charge of arrangements.
