She was born on January 6, 1953 to Theodore and Bertha (Neal) Lewis, Sr. in Jeffersonville, IN. She was a CNA for Sellersburg Health and Rebab.
Survivors include her companion, James Matthews of Jeffersonville, IN; daughter, Carol Matthews of Jeffersonville, IN; sisters, Wanda Latham of Charlestown, IN, Joyce Cissell of Charlestown, IN, and Doris Burchett of Charlestown, IN; Grandchildren, Tiffany Atkisson, Nathan Atkisson, Christopher Atkisson, Jerry Matthews, Todd Matthews, and Austin Matthews; great-grandchildre, Katelyn Ash, Elijah Atkisson, and Helena Matthews.
