Lewis M. Love

Lewis M. Love 78 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday December 23, 2023, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on February 4, 1945, in Corydon, IN to Lewis and Julia Sullivan Love. He was a retired employee of General Electric in Louisville and member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judith Bussey.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Peggy Hawkins Love; sons, Lewis “Butch” Love (Lori) of Charlestown, Todd Love (Vanessa) of Jeffersonville, IN, Nathan Love (Jessica) of Charlestown; sister, Melissa Crawford (Patrick) of Charlestown, grandchildren, Brandon Love (Chloe), Bradley Love, Zachary Love, Samuel Love, Bryson Love, Lucas Love, Madalyn Love and Akara Vetter; and two great grandchildren.

Life Celebration Services will be 11:00 am on Saturday December 30, 2023, at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday and after 9:00 am on Saturday.

Masonic Services will be at 7:00 pm on Friday.
