Mr. Harbin was born on Feb. 7, 1931 in Clark County, Indiana the son of James M. and Beetta B. Wainscott Harbin and died on May 31, 2008 at his home. He was a retired truck driver for Falls City Transfer and Storage and a farmer, a Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Lawrence Capehart Post of the American Legion in Jeffersonville, IN
Survivors include his wife, the former Patricia Cunningham, daughter; Luanne Staley of Marysville, step-son; Daniel Davis of Charlestown, brothers; Gerald, Darryl and Bobby Harbin all of New Albany and Charles Harbin of Las Vegas, NV. and six grandchildren.
