Leonard "Cotton" Miles

Leonard “Cotton” Miles, 85 passed away of Leukemia at Clark Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 29, 2011.
He was born on February 20, 1926 in Akron, OH the son of Edgar and Willie Willis Carden Miles. Cotton retired after forty-five years working for Kroger in Jeffersonville, IN and was a WWII Navy Veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years Edna A. Smith Miles; daughter, Gloria Oakley; sons, Stephen, Darrel and Daniel Miles; nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday April 1, 2011 at 11 AM at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 to 8 PM and after 9 AM Friday until time of service.
