Laveran Lorenz

Mrs. Lorenz was born on Feb. 10, 1921 in Clark County and passed away on Thursday Dec. 3, 2009 at her home.
She was the daughter of Morton and Rhoda Mae Lightcap Lovins. Mrs. Lorenz was a member of the Hibernia Christian Church, a 58 year member of the Owen Township Homemakers Club, a board member of Farm Bureau Inc., member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Sellersburg for 63 years, and a board member of the Owen Creek Cemetery Assoc.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank A. Lorenz, JR and a son Kevin Lorenz.
LaVeran is survived by her sons, Vernon Lorenz ( Linda) of Charlestown, Larry Lorenz ( Bobbi) of Spirit Lake, ID., daughter, Helen Sue Sneed (Clifton) of Sellersburg, grandchildren; Cheryl Graebe, Chris Lorenz, Larry Wayne Lorenz, II and Rhonda Caldwell, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
