Larry lived a life filled with adventure, service, and love. He married his sweetheart, Joellen Schmidt, on June 11, 1961, and together they built a beautiful family. Larry’s life was marked by his commitment to serving others and his community. He served his country in the US Navy, completing the rigorous frogman training (UDT). After his military service, Larry continued to serve as a member of the California Highway Patrol and the Department of Justice. His professional journey was diverse, reflecting his hard-working and adaptable nature. Larry was a welder, a milkman, a snack vendor, a construction worker, a hotel manager, a school teacher, and finally, a hardware manager.
However, Larry’s life truly transformed when he found the Lord. His faith became the cornerstone of his life, and he dedicated himself to his Saviour. His devotion led him to faithfully attend the Branham Tabernacle and loyally follow the World Wide Tape Ministry of Reverend William Branham. Larry was a passionate supporter of missionary work through The Voice of God Recordings.
As we remember Larry, we celebrate not only the life he lived but the profound impact he had on those around him. His faith, his love for his family, and his service to others will be remembered by all who knew him.
The family will honor Larry's life with a private memorial and celebration.
Though his passing leaves a void in our hearts, we find comfort in knowing that he is at peace with the Lord he loved so dearly. May his memory be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Until we meet again…..
