Larry “Bud” Kuppler, 76 of Madison, IN passed away on Friday January 3, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Kuppler was born on March 1, 1937 in Madison, IN the son of Martin and Gaynell West Kuppler. He retired after 30 years of service with the former Jefferson Proving Ground. He attended the former Zoar United Methodist Church in Kent, was a member of the Madison V.F.W., enjoyed auctions, socializing with his friends at the Hanover McDonalds, Neace’s Barber Shop in downtown Madison and served in the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include his daughter, Elaine Riedel(Randy) of Madison; sons, David Kuppler of Madison and Greg Kuppler(Keri) of Madison; sisters, Charlotte Colyer of Dupont and Judy Kuppler of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Mike Kuppler of Columbus, IN, Don Kuppler of Madison, Calvin Kuppler of Kalamazoo, MI, Leroy Kuppler of Madison and Dean Martin Kuppler; grandchildren, Chase, Preston, Afton, Eden, Reilly and Allie; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Wanda Kusler Kuppler in 2003; sisters, Mary, Joanna, and Loriane, brothers, Vance, Marion, and infant son Brian Keith Kuppler
Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover. Private graveside services will be held at Zoar Cemetery in Kent. Expressions of Sympathy in memory of Mr. Kuppler may take the form of donations to the World Wildlife Fund.
