Larry D. Hays, 42, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 after a long fought battle with cancer at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
He was born on December 1, 1970 to Larry Dale and Pamela (Jones) Hays in Quantico, VA. He was employed at Ford Motor Company Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, KY. He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, an avid guitarist. He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Dale Hays, Sr. who passed away May 27, 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda McIntosh Hays of Charlestown, IN; daughter, Samantha Hays of Charlestown, IN; son, Steven Hays of Charlestown, IN; mother & step-father, Pamela G. and Jerry Zollman of Charlestown, IN; sister, Kelly Bussey of Charlestown, IN; grandmother, Jackie Jones of Charlestown, IN; twin grandchildren, Mason & Hayden.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 1pm on Thursday.
