Larry Joe Cardwell, 77 of Sellersburg, IN passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Larry was born December 7, 1937 in Kokomo, IN the son of Harold Vernon and Bettie Smith Cardwell. He was a retired Truck Driver and Safety Director. He was a member of the Charlestown Christian Church and the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his wife; Mary Meador Cardwell, daughters; Diedre Cooper (Frank) of New Albany, Stephanie Atkins (Bill) of Salem, IN, Leslie Ingram (Ron), Tina Davenport, and Brenda Jones (Ronnie) all of Charlestown, Teresa Denney of Sellersburg, sons; Kevin Cardwell (Kim) of New Albany, IN, Fred Eugene Bush of Sellersburg, mother; Bettie Browning of New Albany, sisters; Judy Wyling of Los Vegas, Cheryl Miller and Carol Featherstone both of Paramount, CA; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and step-father, Forest Browning, daughter Deborah Ingram, and grandson Tracy Jones.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 2 at 11:30 am at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8pm and after 9am on Saturday
