Mr. Burks was born July 11, 1948 in Jeffersonville, IN the son of William and Frances Lewis Burks and passed away Saturday April 10, 2010 at Wedgewood Healthcare Center
He was a former employee of United Technology in Jeffersonville and a member of the Main Cross Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife the former Linda King, sons; Laryy Burks, Jr., of Scottsburg and Christopher Burks of Charlestown, daughter, Mary E. Keith of Jeffersonville, brother; Richard Burks of Jeffersonville, sisters; Mary L. Bodkin of Charlestown, Joyce Bamforth and Norma Crane of Jeffersonville, and Barbara Honeycutt of Chicago and 7 grandchildren.
