Larry Bower 78 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

Larry was born on June 9, 1946, in Jeffersonville to Vernon Bud Bower and Fern Baxter Bower Giltner.  He was a retired iron worker who started his career in West Virginia and ended his career with the Iron Workers Local #70 in Louisville, KY.  He was a member of Landmark Apostolic Church in Corydon, IN, Scottish Rite Valley of Evansville, IN, Jeffersonville Masonic Lodge, and the Kosair Shriners.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, son, Buddy Bower, and brother, Bob Giltner.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Kern Bower, children, Andrea Bower (David) of Nabb, IN, Leslie Bower (Michelle) of Clarksville, IN, Randy Bower of Charlestown, IN; grandchildren, Aralynn, Chris, Ashley, Emily, and Haley; brother Ronnie Giltner (Bobbie) of Newkirk, OK, sister, Mary Beth Rodden (John) of Jeffersonville, nephews and nieces, Santiago, Diego, Jonny, Tristen, Finley, Joslyn, Veronica, Charlie.

Life Celebration Services will be at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
