Lamar Tyrone Brackens

Lamar Tyrone Brackens 42 of Sellersburg, IN passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

He was born on December 15, 1981, to Bill Brackens and Michelle Roland in New Albany, IN.  Lamar is preceded in death by his father and a brother, Corbin Starks, Sr.  Lamar enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family, and watching his son in travel baseball.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Brackens, children, Justus Kellar of Fort Campbell, KY, Autumn Hughes of Charlestown, Corbin Starks, Jr., of New Albany, IN, and Colton Pepper of New Albany, IN, mothers, Michelle Roland of New Albany and Shea Dunn (Steve) of Louisville, KY, brothers, Justin Brackens (Rachel) of San Diego, CA and Travis Starks of Georgetown, IN, William Pernini of New Albany, sister, Aubree Brackens of Atlanta, GA and several nieces and nephews.

Life Celebration Memorial Services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.  The visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday.
