Kevin Lee Stinson, Sr., 57, of Jeffersonville passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born on October 1, 1954 in New Albany, IN to Frank and Ruth Brown Stinson. He worked for Sears and CSX Railroad. He was also a member of the
St. James Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Stinson who passed away on June 22, 2001, and his father Frank Stinson.
Survivors include his son, Kevin Stinson, Jr. (Chavonne) of Jeffersonville, IN; daughter, Sheila Williams of TN; mother, Ruth Stinson of New Albany, IN; sisters, Carol Hickerson of Jeffersonville, IN, Linda Duncan of New Albany, IN, Donna Brown of Jeffersonville, IN, and Pam Proctor of New Albany, IN; brothers, Frank Stinson of Jeffersonville, IN, and Greg Stinson of New Albany, IN; grandchildren, Kasir Robinson, Kieran Forest, Jerroderick Green, and Denietra Green; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 2pm at the St. James Methodist Church, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday after 11am at the church. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown handling the arrangements.
