Kevin Mckinley Gillespie

Kevin McKinley Gillespie 65, of Charlestown, IN. passed away at his residence on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

He was born in Louisville, KY. on February 7, 1959, to Elder Robert M. and Edith (Adkins) Gillespie.  Kevin was a salesman and part owner of Big G. Supply in Charlestown and a member of Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown.

In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann (Davidson) Gillespie; his brother, Larry Neil Gillespie; and nephews, George Eric Elliott and Frank Shane Wayne Davidson.  He was also preceded in death by three half-brothers and three half-sisters.

Kevin’s survivors include his children, Larry M. Gillespie (Amy) of Charlestown, Shawna Coleman (Dustin) of Charlestown; a brother, Gary Gillespie of Charlestown; a sister, Eva Marion of Charlestown; grandsons, Lucas and Lincoln Gillespie and Corbyn Coleman; granddaughters, Lilly Gillespie, Bionca Martin, and Fallen Coleman; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Life Celebration Services will be on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Ivy Hill Baptist Church in Underwood, IN with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown and after 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the church.
