Kenneth E Thompson

Kenneth Elijah “Rollie” Thompson 71 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at University of Louisville Hospital.

He was born on December 20, 1952, in Louisville, KY to Kenneth “Bud” LaMaster and Pauline Thompson.  Kenneth retired from the City of Clarksville after 37 years of service.  He was a member of the Sellersburg Full Gospel Church, Indiana Sheriffs Association and Cave Hill Bay Homeowners Association.  Kenneth enjoyed boating, hunting and being outdoors while spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Leroy Thompson.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Colvin Thompson; son, Kenneth Eric Thompson (Tabitha) of Clarksville; daughters, Sarah Quinn of Clarksville, Beth Thompson of Jeffersonville, IN, and Meagan Renee Fields (Darrell) of Jeffersonville, IN; step children, Gina Hill (Jonathan) of Salem, IN, Glenn Colvin (Treasea) of Charlestown, IN, Teresa Kinsey (James) of Texas, Joey Colvin (Penny) of Memphis, IN and JoAnn Cowherd (Richard) of Lanesville, IN and 10 grandchildren and several step grandchildren.

Life Celebration Services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Fairview Cemetery in New Albany, IN.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Monday and after 9:00 am on Tuesday.
