Kenneth Gene Scrivner, 81, of New Albany, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at his home.
He was born on May 23, 1932 to Charles and Prudy (Turner) Scrivner in Hazard, KY. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, a retired engineer for General Electric, a member of the St. Johns Masonic Lodge #8 in New Albany, IN, and a member of the St. James United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel (Oglesby) of New Albany, IN; son, Steven Scrivner of New Albany, IN; brother, James Scrivner of New Albany, IN; sister, Vivian Barbour of New Albany, IN; grandchildren, Victoria I. Scrivner of Louisville, KY, Nick Goins of CO, and John Goins of New Albany, IN; great-grandchild, Ayden Cundiff of Jeffersonville, IN.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November25, 2013 at 1pm at the St. James United Methodist Church in Jeffersonville, with burial in the Westhaven Cemetery in New Albany, IN. Visitation will be held after 11am on Monday at the church. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown handling the arrangements.
